Emily Bennett

A Celebration of the Life of Emily Joan Bennett
October 3, 1997 - September, 2002

'FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS"
"To know her was to love her". Truer words were never spoken, when speaking of Emily. She not only touched the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to meet her, she reached out and grabbed a piece of it.

For those of you who were not blessed to meet our beautiful little girl, the one thing that we would most like to share with you is the wonderful ability she had to turn your frown to a smile, your tears to laughter and your anger to joy. Although faced with numerous medical problems in her short time here on earth, she seemed to understand the importance of the many appointments and procedures and made her mark with the majority of health care professionals that treated her.

She was indeed a special little girl, whose favorite things like "Clifford, The Big Red Dog", her tricycle and swings, swimming, camping, preschool, and just exploring the backyard with her sister, Madeleine, brought her an endless amount of joy.

We hope and pray that we contributed to making her life as full and happy as is possible, and we truly believe that the smile that greeted us every morning and ended each and every day, confirmed this for us. We thank God, not only for the five short years of absolute and utter joy that was Emily, but also for the lifetime of wonderful memories that we will cherish in our hearts and minds forever.

So many wonderful people have touched our lives, in so many ways, and we are so very grateful for the endless support and encouragement we have received. Along with our many thanks, we send our wishes and hopes that you treasure each and every day that you are blessed with and celebrate today, the important moments of your and your loved ones lives.

May God bless and keep you all.

Peter, Maureen, and Madeleine Bennett
